Hi Lucy,
I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the hire of your campervan.
It was fantastic, and made our holiday very special. I Will certainly be
recommending you and if we ever venture your way again we will
definitely look into the use of one of your vans again.
I will upload some pictures soon.
Many Thanks,
Amy
Thanks Lucy,
We had a great time in NZ in our Eurocamper. We will send some snaps when we get home. The vehicle was great.

Hi Lucy,
Just want to say again Thank You - we truly had an amazing trip - have attached some photos for you with the vans all lined up. If you every think about spreading your wings to Australia please let me know. We were telling strangers at Auckland airport how good the vans are, the service, the set up in the vans - honestly you have thought of everything that a traveler might need. Forgot to say on the summary page that I have never conducted so many look see in a van whenever we pulled up other travelers would come over and ask to look in vans so once again congratulations on thinking of your customers and what they might or might not need. We all had a wonderful time from the snow fields to the Bay of Islands in all weather conditions.
Thank You for thinking of Us

Hi Lucy
I thought I would drop you a quick line on our trip and experience with you guys, I have also included a photo for you and have more with your camper if you need them.
We had an awesome time in NZ and loved travelling in the camper and we made the correct choice in getting the Fiat Winnebago.
We loved the camper and we have some friends looking at doing a trip so we have passed on your details including the vehicle details so they will be booking the Fiat as well.
We are going overseas later this year but we will be back in NZ next year and we think we will do a 3 or 4 week trip and be using you guys again.
Thanks again Shawn
Morning Damian/Lucy
We are now back in Australia, having thoroughly enjoyed our stay in NZ.As absolute novices to the motorhome we were a little apprehensive but the Eurocamper was a great introduction.Well set up and extremely reliable. You will be aware that we had a couple of power glitches early in the piece;thanks for the prompt support(one of the reasons we chose Eurocampers),fortunately not a glitch with the camper but with the supply at the holiday park. The camper did everything and went everywhere we expected to go without any dramas.
If we get the opportunity to revisit NZ you'll be on our list.Photos not on disc yet (another novice occasion) but a great experience.

Hi Lucy, Damian & Greg
Thank you for your care and attention during our recent wonderful holiday in your beautiful country. We enjoyed it immensely and your vehicle was great. We will certainly recommend you to anyone we know who is coming your way.
We are currently sorting out our photos - over 2000 of them - do you want them all? No? Okay, we'll send a few shortly.

Hi Lucy & Damian
First off, all the very best for the New Year.
Our arrival at Heathrow was a real reality check it was absolutely bloody freezing and its getting colder & snowing, day by day.
Thank you for such a wonderful holiday in New Zealand. This was mostly due to your commitment from the first initial contact, to our dreaded departure on New Years eve at Auckland International. Your communication in the early days was second to none and set our minds at rest, we knew that we were dealing with a company that knew their business. We can only say "that our judgement proved right" the vehicle was exceptionally well presented and your help was always a phone call away.
As requested we have put some photos together please see attached.
Thank you once again for an absolutely brilliant holiday

Dear Damian and Lucy
Just a quick note to thank you for for the service you provided us during our recent trip to New Zealand. It was great to have such a personal meet and great service and it got our holiday off to a great start. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole camper van experience and would like to come back in a few years to visit the South Island.
I hope that you have been busy and that you continue to survive during this tough economical time. We will certainly recommend your company to any friends our colleagues thinking about a trip. We arrived back safely from Aus on Friday and although still struggling with the time difference we are back into work and school routine already.
I hope you both had a great Christmas and New Year.
Once again many thanks.
Kind regards,
Mike Woodage

Hi Lucy,
We would like to thank you and Damian very much for the fantastic holiday we had in your great Winnebago motorhome. We had a truly memorable experience touring New Zealand. Hope you like the photos.
Many thanks,
Brian and Maggie Parle
Hi Damian
Rob and I would like to send you our thanks. The camper van was perfect for us, plenty of space and in great condition. The extra touches like the mobile phone were brilliant as it meant we could book everything we needed on 0800 numbers without having to use our UK phone! We will 100% recommend Euro campers to any of our friends and family when they visit NZ. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!
Kind regards Tash

Hi Damian and Lucy,

Hi there. Have just filled out your questionnarre and am sending you a photo we took while in Arrowtown. Have a lovely drop of snow while there in July. Kids had a ball and we were very warm and cosy in our camper.
Cheers Rachel Happy

Joe and I had fantastic time over this last month and we are sad to say good-bye to this beautiful country of your's. Not sure how we'll go back to sleeping in tents now that we've lived the life of luxury in the campervan!
Hope you are having a great time in England! Thank you the van was awesome!
Cheers,
Meg and Joe
Hello Damian and Lucy, we were going to send you a Christmas Card, but are not to sure of your full address as some of our information has gone walkabouts. In writing our Christmas Newsletter to friends and relatives a large portion of the letter was taken up with our experiences of spending 50 days in our fabulous Camper Van. You have all been very much in our thoughts and we did so appreciate our friendly reception at your home, the helpful information during our telephone conversations from the UK, which was an enormous help when making our plans and the wonderful VW Camper Van which far exceeded our expectations.
From the time we were collected from our Hotel in Christchurch, the holiday went without a hitch which included the weather, with only one wet day - fabulous!. The Van was beautifully equipped with everything you could wish for, spotlessly clean, all facilities were in excellent working order, although we didn't watch the colour Television, for the scenery was far superior to any television programme!!. Driving the Van was a dream. The 2.5 turbo diesel made nonsense of the mountain passes and manoeuvred round the tightest of hairpin bends with ease and there are a few in New Zealand! The Camper Van also drew a lot of interest from other Campers and Holidaymakers and we conducted a goodly number of grand tours round the Establishment and from comments received, Eurocampers have the edge on the competition.
Returning to the UK, we were involved with running a large Scout Camp in Wales. It was wet, windy and muddy and we were under canvas. Oh! how we wished we had the comfort and sheer luxury of our much loved VW Camper Van where we could close the doors and turn the heater on full blast and sit in a glorious warm capsule of comfort - perhaps anno domini is starting to catch up with us!
The fabulous time we had 'down under' this year has given us the travel bug and we have now arranged a 10 week holiday in Tasmania/Australia Thailand/Hong Kong starting mid February 09, sadly without a Camper Van, but in this instance more convenient with car hire, but come year 2010, we are hoping to be back in NZ to fill in some of the gaps and spend time in our favourite places and of course we happen to know of a very good source for the supply of a Camper Van!
Well, time to finish and as you can guess we have been passing your name around this Christmas which we are sure will eventually bring some results and.we trust that despite these difficult financial times you will weather the coming year well. No doubt the children are becoming very excited about Christmas and will be keeping a watchful eye open for Father Christmas. We have our Christmas Tree and decorations all up and ready to have an enjoyable time with family and friends and we wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
Our very best wishes. Celia and Ian.

Dear Buckleys
I have to commend you on an outstanding vehicle that led to a marvellous ten days in the South Is NZ. We had one of the new 07 Fords - perfect for us as we like a bit of room.
The bed was outstandingly comfortable. The bathroom was quite simply the best we have ever used. The van appointments were perfectly thought out, even to the plastic storage containers. How many of those have I bought elsewhere and tossed at the end of the trip? No need this time.
We had many curious looks and people wanting to look inside. The Winnebago coach body was built just up the road from us and still had the tap fittings for australian taps. We bought a hose tap fitting to suit the nz taps.
We like to travel wild and only stayed in a vanpark one night to charge up our camera batteries. The van met all our needs wherever we stayed even when the locals had signs up telling us to go away. We had a great night by the side of the road overlooking the end of the river at Kingston for example.
The Otago highlands are beyond beautiful and I fell in love with Aoraki so we wound up and down mountains and valleys from both sides of the island. The van handled like a dream. Plenty of power and excellent steering on those narrow goat tracks - just kidding about the goat tracks. Not!
We love to travel with the freedom of the road, stopping whenever and wherever we fancy. I can honestly say that the only experience comparable to the South Island in a Eurocamper was a springtime circuit of Iceland in a motorhome. The only difference, we didn't need the gas heating. Just as well, because I didn't see any, although the van is advertised as having gas heating. Perhaps it is only in the Fiats? We had a Fiat in Iceland.
One of our numerous offspring is living in Christchurch with her bf for a few months. We were able to meet up and enjoy meals at the beach with them, despite the wind and rain. They loved playing house and took a daytrip to Kaikoura and Hanmer Springs with us quite comfortably. (Yeah, I know. The BF's boss asked if he was sure we were doing it in a day. His answer: they are aussies. Enough said. Besides I just HAD to have one more session in the springs)
Thank you for making this one of our most fantastic trips ever and that is saying something! We have had some amazing journeys and I am very glad we impulsively decided to take that drive around the South Island in one of your excellent motorhomes. The Christchurch depot staff could not have been more helpful and friendly which put a little more icing on the cake of a great trip.
Well done for seeing the potential of this vehicle for us part-time loopies - oz word for the grey nomads who travel in motorhomes around oz after retiring. No such luck for us. We have years of work ahead yet but trips like this one make it well worthwhile.
Mary & Jo Sydney AUS
ps: we loved the sound of the rain on the roof and the window design allowed us to have fresh air even in poor weather.
pps: thank heavens for the insect screens. Even with them, I was eaten alive. Forgot about arctic style climates and the insects short summer! Still itching six weeks later. Maybe your site could recommend insect repellent as a MUST have in summer?
pps: I am pretty sure that we will never hire another britz or maui after experiencing your camper configuration. such a luxury not to make up a bed everytime we want a nap. And the overhead bed is quite the most spacious and accommodating we have ever seen; being able to raise it while travelling gave a great sense of space and ease of movement in and out of the driving area.
Hi Damian & Lucy
The 22 nights we spent in the campervan were a unique experience. The 2.5L turbo engine meant we could easily negotiate all those steep climbs and oh those hairpin bends! We never thought the van was going to be so comfy to drive and sleep in. In the time we were there, we travelled over 5000km over both islands. Very difficult to pinpoint favourite places but Milford Sound and Fox Glacier are definitely up there. Okere Falls in the north island has produced the biggest grade 5 rafting fall in the world at a very respectable 7m drop. That was probably the only regret.
Damian & Lucy were stars. They helped organise repair of my suitcase that Christchurch kindly damaged. It was a great help not having to keep our bulky cases. You know how us girls don't like to travel light! We received a very personal service and had an awesome time. Well done Eurocampers!

Hi Damian & Lucy
We just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our Eurocamper experience with you in New Zealand. Eight years ago we did a similar thing with friends in a high-top type camper. We had heaps of fun but were constantly frustrated by the lack of power in the motor and the difficulty with parking, maneuvering, etc. We just loved this VW van because it was so easy to drive and had plenty of oompphh when needed.
All the little extras were much appreciated as well: the sand-fly spray was a big hit!!
Well done... we will certainly recommend your vans to all our friends (we have done already actually!!)
All the very best for a successful future.
Sincerely
Eileen & Jen
Dear Friends,
Last October, we took a one-week vacation in New Zealand where we toured the North Island in a camper van and needless to say, we didn't want to come back!
Not only New Zealand is an extremely beautiful country but the people and the way-of-life are exceptional. What made it even more special is the company we chose for our camper van: Eurocampers is a unique company, independent from the big brands and thus closer to their customers. Damian and Lucy are full of attentions and little details and are committed to making sure that your trip is worry-free. For example, they provide a cell phone fully loaded with free minutes and ready to use for emergencies and holiday park advance bookings. They are very organized and will listen to all you have to say.
Of course, we would urge you to visit New Zealand, and when you do, we would strongly recommend that you consider Eurocampers for your camper van rental. We have nothing to gain with this recommendation but we care that you have a wonderful time.Henrik & Miriam

Hi Damian and Lucy,
We never got a chance to thank you guys personally.
We had a great holiday, a great time and really enjoyed the van experience.
With respect to the quality of your vehicles and level of service;
Eurocampers made the competition look, errr, shabby :). We had a lot of
interest from fellow campers and they were certainly surprised to see the
spec and equipment levels. As for the price, it was competitive and I would
use Eurocampers next time.
I did get a couple of cool photo's of the van, onsite and on the move, let
me know if you would like me to forward them. We also had some van related
thoughts, I can jot these down if you would like to see them.
Thanks Richard

Damian and Lucy,
Sorry for not getting back to you guys sooner. Here are a few pics from our little trip. Ellie and I, as of yet, have not traded photos yet so I've attached her address to this e-mail and perhaps she has some to add. Once again thanks for the fantastic service and for the vehicle which exceeded our expectations in all regards. Also, the bikes were great and thanks for your prompt response to all our questions prior to arrival. Hope the two of you are doing well, and hope to see you again one of these days.
Regards Ian Shewring
Dear Damian and Lucy
We just wanted to say we had a great trip in the campervan- couldn't fault it -virtually everything we needed you had provided and it drove like a dream. We were very grateful of the fan heater at Wanaka where we had a cold night. Amazingly in Fiordland we had 2 days of sunshine! We caught 2 days of rain on the West Coast, so "cheated" and had a night at the Rainforest Retreat at FranzJosef- staying in a treelodge, up at tree height with our own private patch of rainforest outside the window- we would recommend this . It was also a good chance to dry our wet clothes/boots !
With best wishes for a Happy Christmas and prosperous New year Imogen and David Taylor

Hi Damian,
We had a good time and found the van great. It was well laid out, easy to drive and really economical to run. We took lots of photos and I'm sure we've got some showing the van which I'll forward on when I've sorted them.
I'm sure we'll be back again and I'm currently trying to convince my parents to come over and hire a van!
Regards Dan & Jo
Hello Lucy and Damian,
just wanted to drop you a note and telling you that we returned safely. Thanks for all your support, kindness and help and the very friendly welcome in New Zealand and at your home. We really enjoyed the time 'down under' (or 'on top' as we learned from the world maps). We got a good feeling for the other sides of life in a more relaxed and quieter environment without the daily hectics and pure, amazing nature around us.
... and we loved our home - the campervan was definitely more than just a temporary/arbitrary place to stay - it was a safe heaven for us. (not only when the other campers were fighting the rain storms), We enjoyed the coffees and English muffins we could bake in there as well as the lazy times when all four of us were reading or writing. Thanks again for everything - you really helped us to make our vacation memorable and nearly perfect!
All the best from California, Susanne, Bernd, Sabrina and Svenja
Hi Damian,
Just wanted to say a huge Thank You - we had a wonderful trip away in the campervan and will definitely be a) recommending it to all our friends, and b) doing it again ourselves before too long! We went right up to north and back down thru the Kauri forests, it was gorgeous. The van drove really well and attracted lots of comments and questions from The Public. The extra facilities such as microwave and dvd player proved to be very useful…!
Thanks again, hope to catch up with you soon. Ella was very taken with Victoria!
Cheers
Lynn Robinson

Hi Damian,
We've been back home just over a week now, and at last getting our bodies into the right timing and our brains into gear again!
I thought I'd just write you a reflection on our campervan experience. It was something quite new for us as we'd never camped before or used a campervan, but in the end we did sleep in the van for all but one night (a particularly wet night in Greymouth!) We were very grateful for the preliminary talk from you, though because there was so much to take in, we were struggling to remember all you had said after!
The van was slightly bigger than I expected, though we may have struggled with anything much smaller. We came to be very grateful we hadn't gone for the bigger motorhome options as the campervan was pretty nippy and easy to drive.
One of the biggest assets for us was the back opening doors. We could stop for lunch, throw open the doors onto a stupendous view and sit in the van to eat. A couple of people came up to us to ask us about the van and where we'd hired it from. We felt pretty unique as we only saw your other van once on our trip, and it was very easy to find our van on a crowded site!
Thank you for all your help before out trip, your hospitality, and your high standard van, the whole thing exceeded our expectations, and the fact we slept in the van every night (which we hadn't expected to) shows how at home we felt in it! The motel in Christchurch was great too, and the owners very helpful and friendly.
We wish you every success in the future and will certainly not hesitate to recommend you to any friends planning a smilar trip.
Best wishes,
Sheila Fisher x
Dear Lucy & Damian,
This is just a brief note to thank you and your team at Eurocampers for your efficent, friendly service and your excellent, well equipped vehicle. Comparing notes with other van hirers on the way round confirmed that our choice had given us not only a vehicle ideal for our purpose but also the best value. The drivability and performance of the vehicle was terrific and made the 3,000 kilometres we traveled across the length and breadth of the South Island an absolute joy. The van was well laid out, very well equipped and free of irritating squeaks and rattles. All the equipment was clean and in good order and the beds were comfortable. This was without doubt the best holiday that Maureen and I have had in some years and we appreciate the contribution you made. Cheers John Spence-Thomas. Australia.
The best mistake we ever made....When trying to find that elusive camper van deal for two months in New Zealand we did everything we could to secure a decent quality reasonably priced camper. However, after calls and net enquiries it was a wrong number that led us to Eurocampers! The VW van itself was excellent and the service, from delivery, to pick up, to ferry bookings and left items at the end of the trip could not be faulted. We would highly recommend Damian and his team to any future travellers to NZ. In addition you feel so much more exclusive than simply driving "another Maui or Britz" made even better knowing it cost you less!! We'll be back and we know the number to call now!

Just a quick note to thank everyone at eurocampers for the facility you have made available for me over the last three weeks.I can honestly say "it was a holiday of a life-time" made even more special by service provided. I would be only too willing to recommend your company to any of my associates who may be visiting New Zealand in the future.
Once again, many thanks for an outstanding holiday. (See you in the very near future)
Regards,
Martin Revill. UK.
An excellent quality vehicle with a superb setup. All the bells and whistles you need for campervaning in comfort. From Christchurch, to Golden Bay and on up to Farewell Spit... MAGIC!

Tracy and I set aside three months to tour around New Zealand being such a long period of time we naturally wanted the best and most comfortable method of transport to suit our budget.
After enquiries made with numerous rental car and campervan companies we contacted Eurocampers and spoke to owner Damian.
Although we made no commitment to hire one of his vehicles, Damian arranged for him and one of his representatives, Greg to meet us so we could view a 2 berth campervan. Both were extremely helpful and pleasant, not only on the van and its contents but also on places to visit around New Zealand.
Impressed with the company we decided to hire a 2 berth VW Transporter from Eurocampers for the duration of our holiday. Although the quote from Eurocampers was not the cheapest we felt the service, standard of vehicle, its interior design and its contents were far superior to those provided by other companies.
Eurocampers arranged for Tracy and I to be collected from our accommodation in Auckland and taken to collect our van.
Damian and his wife Lucy showed us around the van explaining the function and use of all facilities and appliances. Our vehicle was less than a year old and was fully equipped with items such as electric kettle, toaster, microwave and even a hot water bottle and electric blanket, which was very useful during the cold nights in the mountains. A mobile phone was also supplied with our vehicle which we found extremely useful.
Although our van had just been returned to the company from receiving a full service we had additional piece of mind due to the full breakdown care provided, although this was never used.
We had an amazing holiday in New Zealand; part of this was because of our choice of company and campervan which met all our needs and expectations. The last thing any holiday maker wants to worry about whilst on holiday is the reliability of their hired vehicle. During our three months we met many others who had hired campervans who were both unimpressed with the lack of personal service provided by some of the larger companies and reliability of their vehicles.
Both Tracy and I would recommend Eurocampers to anyone interested in hiring a campervan during their holiday in New Zealand. Not only are their vans far superior to those offered by other companies, the personal service we received throughout our holiday was excellent.
Nicki Manton. UK.
